Kia Ora. My name's Paul, I'm a self-taught artist from New Zealand, and I'm responsible for this site and the contents.

Background; I was born in Rotorua- the steaming, geothermal tourist centre of the North Island- and I've spent the last 12 years living in Wellington, London and Auckland, with some detours along the way, including hitch-hiking across Cuba and a few trips to the beautiful islands of the Pacific.

I currently live on the edge of a volcano in Auckland and spend most of my days doing web design and painting, with a dog and a cat for company. (it's a dormant volcano, so it's not as exciting as it sounds. Plus, a lot of other people live on it too. I'm just trying to build some mystery or something, k?)

Recently I've been doing some illustrations for the radio station bFM and in 2008 I spent a few months painting the hallway and sets of Alt TV before they shut down.

I've been selling my paintings since 1994, and I launched my website way back in the year 2000. I don't work with any crew, posse, collective or agency, and I'm not being pimped out by a dealer, so if you want to buy any work or commission me or anything just get in touch.
